NEW! Interactive Fall 2011 Student Survey Results
All data from the Fall 2011 Student Survey is divided into the six (6) theme areas listed below. With our interactive pages, you can analyze the data easily to understand how students responded to different parts of their in-school and out-of-school time experience.
Within each theme area, the data can be broken down further by the following groups: school, race/ethnicity, grade, gender, and zip code, students' grade point average, and whether students are an English language learners. You can click on the drop-down menu at the top of each theme page to filter for the group you would like to view. Some examples of different groups you can choose are: 10th graders, Mission High School, or Zip Code 94134.
- Adult Assets: Types of relationships that students have with adults
- Activities & Programs: Structured activities which students are engaged in and would like more of
- Civics & Elections: Satisfaction with current office holders and students' own civic engagement
- Post High-School Plans: Post-secondary plans, including college and school
- Youth Employment: Students' employment experiences and demands
- School Questions: Overall opinion of school and assessment of some school-based services.
How do I...
...Explore different topics?
Just click on one of the topics above, like "Adult Assets" or "Youth Employment." There, you will see all of the relevant survey results featured in one place!
...Look at results broken into different groups?
At the top of each issue page is a drop down menu. Once you select it, you will see all sorts of options, including zip codes, schools, grade levels, GPAs, and more. Just select any of those options, and the page will automatically refresh with new data.
...Compare data between groups?
If your browser supports tabbed browsing, then open the data page in a new tab. This can be done by right-clicking the desired page (i.e. "Adult Assets") and selecting "Open link in new tab." This will open the data on a new page. Follow the steps above to select how you'd like this page of data sorted.
